Which Awards are eligible for the Discount?

Perspectives on Dyslexia (DAAWD51)  
This Level 4 Award provides a solid, theoretical and practical grounding for practitioners in a wide range of settings who work with learners with dyslexia. Studying these closely related units will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge of the characteristics of dyslexia, how to support specific weaknesses commonly associated with dyslexia and an understanding of the key principles that underpin specialist teaching.

Developing Literacy Skills in Learners with Dyslexia (DAAWD52) 
This Level 4 Award provides the context in which literacy skills are acquired and developed. It will equip teachers and education professionals with the background knowledge essential for teaching learners with dyslexia and literacy difficulties. The interrelating research pertinent to developing literacy skills and appropriate intervention for learners with dyslexia will be explored.

Supporting Adults with Dyslexia and Co-occurring Difficulties (DAAWD59)
This Level 5 Award explores adult learning support from a range of perspectives. It is suitable for those working with Adults with dyslexia who want to minimise the impact dyslexia can have in the workplace or in further or higher education. This Award provides a framework for addressing the complex nature of dyslexia as a disability and offers practical solutions to ensure accessible learning for adults with dyslexia.

Learning Support for Adults with Dyslexia (DAAWD60) 
The units in this Level 5 Award explore three key specialist areas of learning and acknowledge the diverse classroom of today. You will learn how to address memory weakness in the learners you work with, develop writing skills and support EAL learners with dyslexia, exploring recent research that underpins the teaching methods to support learners with dyslexia and with EAL.

Supporting International Learners with Dyslexia (DAAWD67) 
This Level 4 Award in Supporting International Learners with Dyslexia allows professionals to develop and enhance their current skills and understanding. Whilst studying with us, you will question what currently takes place in your classroom and will learn new theories and strategies. You will learn from fellow professionals, will share your classroom experiences and discuss issues via the course forums.
