Level 5 Diploma Routes

The Level 5 Diploma in Strategic Teaching Support for Dyslexia and Literacy (DADIP61) – Fast Track Graduate only route

  • For graduates holding a degree qualification
  • Those who have at least two years of recent and relevant experience in a school or college setting to work with learners with literacy difficulties/dyslexia/SpLD
  • Those who can commit to 10 hours of study per week.

All practitioners train using the Dyslexia Action Literacy Programme (DALP).

This route will take one calendar year to complete.

The Level 5 Diploma in Strategic Teaching Support for Dyslexia and Literacy (DADIP61) – CPD Pathway route – Primary/Secondary or Supporting Adults or International

  • For those who have at least two years of recent and relevant experience in a school or college setting to work with learners with literacy difficulties/dyslexia/SpLD
  • Primary/Secondary or Supporting Adults or International graduates and non-graduates
  • Those who can commit to 3-5 hours of study per week in the first year and 10 hours study in the second year. 

This route will take approximately eighteen months to two years to complete.
