How do I apply for the Master’s Degree in Dyslexia?
The Master’s Degree in Dyslexia credits are undertaken with Middlesex University London. This part of the programme is applied for directly with the University. There are a number of different pathways available for the Master’s Degree in Dyslexia and details can be found in the downloadable guide below.
A 60 credit Negotiated Work Based Learning Project module is completed by those who have already completed 120 credits through the Dyslexia Action Certificate and Diploma qualifications and/or other combined routes.
The total credits for the Master’s Degree in Dyslexia are 180 credits * (120 credits for the Postgraduate Diploma and 60 for the MA).
*For each academic qualification you achieve, you earn course credits. The number of course credits reflects the study time required to complete a course and the credit levels indicate the complexity and depth of learning you can expect on the course.
Who can apply for a Master’s Degree in Dyslexia?
- Students who have completed Dyslexia Action Professional Diploma in Dyslexia and Literacy
Students who have successfully completed the Dyslexia Action Diploma programme and have
gained 120 Middlesex University credits, can apply to undertake the MA in Professional Practice in
Dyslexia and Literacy through the work-based learning programme at Middlesex University. For more information click here.

Students who have successfully completed 80 Middlesex University credits, can apply to undertake
the Middlesex University Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice in Dyslexia and Literacy
