Dyslexia Action’s CPD Programme is shortlisted for a Teach Secondary Award

We are delighted that our online Dyslexia and Literacy CPD Programme has been shortlisted in the CPD category of the 2019 Teach Secondary Awards.

Our online short courses from our CPD Programme offer teaching professionals of all levels the chance to develop new and existing skills to support all of their students including those with dyslexia and other co-occurring difficulties. The online CPD Programme units offer to learn at levels 4, 5 and 7 with the option to combine units to achieve Awards, Certificates, and Diplomas which are approved and quality-assured by The CPD Standards Office.

Here are some thoughts on the programme from our delegates:

“This course was very informative and well presented. Excellent support from a tutor with quick and helpful responses. This has been my first experience with Dyslexia Action and I intend to study further from here.”

“I have learnt so much in reading and reflecting on this unit. The course is really well put together and I have appreciated your advice and observations. I feel there is still a lot I need to learn, but I am in a much better place to encourage and support ‘my’ students with dyslexia and co-occurring difficulties.”

“It has been a really fantastic course, and I’ve learnt a great deal and I’m already sharing new ideas with my students.”
The awards are currently in the final judging stage with the results being announced in October this year – so watch this space for more news on this later in the year.
