The best study hacks for dyslexic learners – send in your videos!

Dyslexia Awareness Week is coming up in October and we want to hear from learners who have dyslexia about their top study hacks! The best three will receive a £50 voucher each – but more than that you’ll also be helping our wider learning community.

Are you dyslexic or do you work with a dyslexic student (16+) at college, university or in another FE setting? Have you come across a smart way to make learning more efficient?

If so, we’d love to hear from you! Send us a short selfie video (1 min max) and tell us more. We’ll be sharing your videos on our social media channels.

Dyslexia Action Study Tips Video Competition Terms and Conditions 

By entering the competition you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. The competition is being run by Real Group Ltd ( 4 Victoria Parade, London SE10 9FR). You must not include other people in this video (especially children). 

 

Eligibility to enter

1. The competition is open to entrants over 16 years of age who have dyslexia or who work with students who are dyslexic and aged 16+.
2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
3. There is no limit to the number of video entries you can submit.
4. The competition is free to enter.
5. By submitting a video you are agreeing that Real Group companies can share it on their social media channels, including your first name.
6. This competition is not open to Real Group employees or affiliates.

How to enter

7.Send your video to imogen.barber@realgroup.co.uk before Midnight Monday 29th September
8. Real Group will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate. 

The prize

9.The prize will be one £50 (or equivalent) voucher for a retailer of your choice. 
10. Real Group’s use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
11. The winner will be selected by the team at Dyslexia Action
12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
13. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances make it necessary to do so.
14. The decision of Real Group regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.  

Winner selection and announcement

15. Winners will be selected during the week 29th September. Videos will be selected according to the merit and innovative nature of the tips provided and will be judged by the team at Dyslexia Action.
16. Winners will be notified week commencing 29th September via the email provided when submitting the video.
17. If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days, they will lose their right to the prize, and Real Group reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
18. Please allow up to 14 days for UK delivery of the prize (or alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement). International delivery may take longer. 


Data protection and publicity

19. By submitting a video you are agreeing that Real Group companies can share it on their social media channels, including your first name.
20. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the competition being used by Real Group for the purposes of administering the Dyslexia Action Study Tips video competition.  All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting marketing@realgroup.co.uk

21. The winner agrees to the release of their last name and county to any other competition participants if requested via Real Group
22. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Real Group’s Data Protection Policy Limitation of Liability
23. Real Group does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.
24. Real Group does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize.  On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of the prize winner.
25. These competition terms and conditions adhere to the regulations of the Gambling Act 2005.
