The Dyslexia Guild Annual Conference 2024
Lucy HowesWe are excited to share that our affiliated SpLD membership body – The Dyslexia Guild have announced their Annual Conference.
The conference will be held online on Wednesday 3 July 2024, and offers the opportunity to hear expert views and examine current topical issues relating to literacy, numeracy and dyslexia/SpLD.
Attendees will gain a 5-hour CPD attendance certificate (2 of which is SASC accredited) when attending this event.

Rob Jennings – ‘Why some of us struggle with maths, and how we might find ways to assess and support learners in the classroom’
Dr Amanda T Abbot-Jones – ‘The prevalence of anxiety within dyslexic communities, and practical solutions and strategies for one-to-one study support students’
Re-Star Programme, King’s College, London – Regulating Emotions – Strengthening Adolescent Resilience
Dr Paul Demetriou-Crane – ‘Adult learners with dyslexia and English as an additional language: assessing and teaching’
You will also have the opportunity to attend some additional sessions, including an exploration into the free Guild members toolkit and the latest updates from the Dyslexia Action Shop.
The Dyslexia Guild Online Conference 2024 is open to everyone, however, you can attend at a discounted rate if you are a member of The Dyslexia Guild. The membership body is open to all those with a professional or general interest in dyslexia and specific learning difficulties (SpLD).
