Dyslexia: Supporting Individuals with Memory Weaknesses (DACPD25)

Type:
Training

This unit examines some of the different aspects of memory and aims to promote an understanding of the barriers that working memory and attentional weaknesses can create within learning environments.

It explores the notion of ‘cognitive profile’ and gives practitioners an opportunity to task analyse: to reflect upon their own practice and how it can be tailored to strategically support learners with dyslexia and co-occurring difficulties.
