Who are these courses suitable for?
Dyslexia Action online Continuing Professional Development courses have been designed to strengthen the expertise and confidence of teachers and assistants, tutors and learning support staff in the UK and overseas.
You can opt to study individual Units or Awards which are made up of three Units. These can then be combined to one of three pathways to gain a Certificate. Applicants should be:
- Qualified classroom teachers, teaching or learning support assistants and be currently (or recently within the last 2 years) employed to work with learners in the UK or internationally
- Qualified to at least level 3 (‘A’ level) on the UK qualifications framework or have other equivalent qualifications and relevant experience. Teaching assistants must be mentored by a qualified teaching professional whilst on the course.

How the courses work
Study either 3 individual Units for each Award or book all 3 Units at the same time and make a saving of £30. Please click on the individual award for more information about fees and entry requirements.

Literacy CPD Pathway to the Certificate in Supporting Literacy in Learners with Dyslexia (DACRT51)

- Courses run six times a year with start dates in September, November, January, March, May and July
